   After washing my clothes there for nearly 10 years, I found a used band-aid in a dryer. When I asked the person at the counter for another $3.25 so I could re-wash and re-dry one load of laundry, she gave me a hard time. After giving me enough to wash, she told me to come back when I was ready to dry for the other 75 cents. When I returned, she told me that the owner said it's not their responsibility to give me a refund, and that because it's a public place, I should be the one checking the machines for band-aids. I've spent nearly $3,600 here over the years, and they were worried about $3.25, and were extrememely rude.

   This would be an amazing place...It COULD be the best tanning salon I've been to yet. But the service is horrible. Its used to be more expensive than other salons, but I have noticed that other locan salons have raised their rates to almost parallel the Laundry Basket. I have never had good customer service here. They make me feel so little, like I am inconvienencing them. Its very easy to tan here though, if you are a student you can run right over and do your laundry, and tan while you wait. So it has its benefits.

   Best place in town!: I really enjoy tanning at the laundry basket. It is definitely the cleanest salon around, and there are many options. Usually if they can fit you in they will. I have also done laundry there with no problems. They have a seating area so you can watch tv or read while you wait. The only downfalls... slightly expensive (but you get what you pay for) and also during the school year it is tough to make a tanning appointment because it is so close to Husson. Solution: Make sure you think ahead. Overall I definitely would suggest making this your new tanning/laundry spot!
