User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsWe moved to Hampden 5 years ago and have been fans of Fresh Ginger ever since. They have great food and reasonable prices. I agree with Stepfordmom about the fresh spring rolls and that amazing dipping sauce. I miss those! Their House Soup is delicious, too. Those were the BEST! They are very good about modifying a dish if you ask and substituting one ingredient for another. We take out there at least once per week. Highly recommended!

My family and I agree that Fresh Ginger is the best Oriental restaurant in the area, and I was stationed in Korea for two and a half years with periodic trips to Japan.
When I'm feeling like something hot to keep the damp or cold weather at bay, we head there for the Wonton soup and an egg roll with hot mustard. My wife likes the egg rolls here better than anywhere. The staff is always friendly, attentive and quick. The atmosphere is pleasant, the facility clean and inviting. The food is fresh and prepared very well. The prices are reasonable, and I'd much rather eat here than at any buffet style Oriental restaurant. I like OJ's in Bangor, but it runs second to Fresh Ginger. 
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsFinally!: It was about time Hampden got a Chinese restaurant & what a good one! The only two things that could improve it are sushi & if they brought back those awesome fresh spring rolls! Other than that, it is perfect...I have been to Chinatown in NYC and believe it or not, the Hot & Sour soup there does not even compare to Fresh Ginger!
