User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsMy husband and I ate there several times during our weeks vacation. The clam showder and fried oysters, oh my goodness, I would so love a plate of that now!! We are from Georgia and our dream is to go back to Maine someday. We will definately be at Shaw's. Watching the lobster boats from the deck and taking the tour was great!! Those fried oysters!!!! Yummy

A view even Donald Trump could`nt afford!!! Please sit on the deck and enjoy the views of the harbor,the smells of the ocean,and the majestic fishing boats. I sat one table over from actor Ed Harris and his company!!(He just finished filming"Empire Falls" which was shot in Maine)
The food at Shaw`s is wonderful! I usually delve head first into a nice lobster smoothered with butter. yum!!!They carry a large assortment of beer,however,I noticed they have`nt stocked Guiness yet.(my favorite)
The only "problem" I`ve had with dining at Shaw`s is that the bar downstairs can get rowdy at times and occasional rough language can be heard upstairs on the deck.The barkeeps should consider that most of their customers are there on vacation wi.th their families and try to stop this behavior -

maines best lobster roll , next to mine :): it is by far the best place to get a great lobster roll , look out for the seagulls they have a good nack at picking of your onion rings !!!
the views are awesome also .
with my trip back east from montana this summer 2007 my folks and I will make the trip for the best lobster rolls in Maine
