User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsI had a lobster 1/4lbs sandwich $18.99 and my wife had a crabmeat sandwich $16.99. We ate at many places during our 6 day stay in Bar Harbor and this was the worst food and service we received by far! The lobster was not fresh,bread was stale, fries were cold,and staff was very gloomy. Our waiter placed us with menus,came back to take our order, we waited 25 minutes before our drinks and food came all at once,then he came back with the check. We saw him 3 times and we felt we were processed more then served. Feel free to learn for yourself but trust me when I say, "No shortage of great food", Stewmans lobster pound, Morning glory for coffee,bagels,homemade pies,all organic and homemade,The Enfield which is expensive but awesome,and many more.

He had a smirk on his face and lacked any kind of personality, the waitress never offered us refills on our drinks. The food was about average, basically a 99, Uno's style resturant. Pizza was cheaply made with hardly any toppings. Only thing good about the place was the decoration.

Our lovely (and I use this term VERY loosely) waitress Jennifer apparently could NOT be bothered by (1) waiting on us, (2) smiling and being pleasant, (3) getting a refill on coffee when asked, and (4) collecting our bill at the end.
We didn't do anything 'wrong' as customers - we were your normal patrons out for a nice dinner. And it was not a busy night by any means...but apparently we didn't have the look of wealthy tourists and it was much too inconvenient to wait on us.
The food was so-so...nothing that would have hit or missed, ...but stood out more-so as unimpressive when you considered how our waitress acted.
