User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsMorning Glory's cakes are unsurpassed. I recently had a special occasion cake made, and it was absolutely sublime. It's not easy to find a cake that tastes as incredible as it looks; but, Camille does it. She's truly a master of her craft. I know I'll never want any other cake, for any occasion. I'll always come back to Morning Glory.
Morning Glory bakery really is as good as it gets in every other way, as well. Their fresh local ingredients really come through in everything, not just their superb cakes. Other personal favorites include their out of this world blueberry cheesecake, their amazing croissants, and their breakfast egg and sausage sandwiches.
I can't recommend them highly enough, nor can we go back often enough!
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsWe are farmers that supply fresh organic foods to Morning Glory Bakery. I often deliver chicken and ricotta "after hours" and walking into the bakery is such a treat. The sights and aromas are absolutely fantastic. I am thoroughly impressed with the diversity of their baked goods and how dedicated and talented Camille and her staff are. I wait all week to stock up at the bakery and feel completely satisfied and thrilled to be supporting and "part of" such a conscientious business.

The Morning Glory is a great place -- vibrant, healthy and fun with excellent coffee and tons of delicious food options for breakfast and lunch. It is one of the hubs of Bar Harbor. They're open all day and into the evening, every day of the week, and offer everything from egg sandwiches to specialty cakes. This is a true bakery in the old fashioned sense and I highly recommend it to anyone in the Mount Desert Island area and beyond. The sticky buns are famous and the spicy cilantro cream cheese is perfect -- swing in and try it yourself!
