User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThere simply isn't any better! As downeast as downeast gets, this place is great. If all you can do is stop for coffee and a piece of pie, it's worth every minute.
User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsIt's all about the pie: After a bit of a hike, an heightened expectations, Moody's was all right in my book. Fair prices, homey atmosphere, a decent lunch (had the seafood platter) and pie to die for (we took a frozen four-berry pie home, yum) rated four stars.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsMoodys Dinah: I haven't been to Moody's in AGES! BUT -- it used to be I went a few times a month mostly for breakfast and sometimes for dinner. Breakfast is my favorite though. It's about as home cooked as you can get for eating out. Very cozy and cheap. If you haven't had a pie from Moody's you haven't lived yet! I would have to say the only thing I don't care for is the line going out the door to get in during the summer. That's when I avoid it but it just proves how good it is!
