User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsCarried out un-authorised work, then demanded payment or no access to boat. Wouldn't have been quite as bad if quality of work was acceptable, but it was deplorable. It was just one thin coat of anti-foul paint to make it look like the job had been carried out (albeit without any request or permission). Within 2 months, heavy growth to the boat bottom indicating the ineffectiveness of the antifouling. Was completely "ripped off". Other practices by Manset included a hoist charge that makes no mention of labor being an extra and deliberately setting the boat down in order to double charge for a haul-out. Invoice inflated with spurious items. All in all, the worst experience. Beware. These people are not to be trusted. There are several professional yards in Southwest Harbor. This is certainly not one of them. Steer Clear.
