User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsUnfortunate Nov. 2005 review: Someone reviewed this place in November of 2005, gave it an extremely adverse rating based on "greasey" pizza. Our experience in the fall of 2006 was totally different. After an initial encounter with their pastries & coffee, wwe went there every day for lunch--from Bar Harbor. Sandwiches, pizza, whatever--all of it was excellent. I'd say it was the best dining experience we had on Mt. Desert Island. It's also an excellent bakery. If the place did dinner w/ wine, we'd have gone there for dinner as well.
