the first time i went here,last spring,it was great!.but my husband and i went here last saturday.had haddock and swordfish.each shared eachothers meals.within 15 minutes of leaving the restaurant we were very ill,and looking for a bathroom..the waitress was way way overworked,and cranky.very very skimpy portions,altho i guess w/spoiled fish,its a good thing we didnt get much,right?..save yer $,go to the Asian Cafe in winslow..ten times better,cheaper,faster etc...

IF you can find some place other then this go to it.
The service was very slow, ordered a bottle of wine and the waitress broke the cork trying to open it, she then said this was only the 2nd bottle she had ever opened.

the meals were either over cooked (Rack of Lamb ordered it Mid/Rare and arrived well done) or not edible (chicken dish - was surpose to be chicken incrusted with wild musrooms with crumbled blue cheese on top- instead it was a breaded fried with the mushrooms and blue cheese melted all over it - looked more like road kill) when meal finally arrived, no one every came back to ask if everything was O.K.

will not go back and waste my money again

LAST UNICORN: I highly agree that this is a very unique place to eat the wine list is great I would highly advise those who come to Waterville check this out, the food is wonderful the service is good not as highly good as it once was but I feel it will get better in time..
