User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsDexter Cafe, is found within sight of the only traffic light in town. On Main street, across from the police station and the Hardware store. Realy, you can't miss it if you park anywhere in the vicinity of these three reference locations. If you travel New England it becomes obvious that each town has one or perhaps two reliably good eateries. Dexter Cafe is such a restaurant. You are getting an opportunity to eat where the locals eat. Also where the older folk eat. That is always a sign of a good establishment. Older folks know where to go for good food, good portions, friendly staff and low prices. Save room for homemade desserts or just have a old fashioned backwoods meal. Allow yourself a "taste" of Maine Highlands culture and enjoy both the experience and the food.
