How does breast cancer have anything to do with how good the food, atmosphere, and service while eating at a restaurant. I do feel sorry for that workers situation, but I wouldn't stop eating at Olive Garden because of this. I can't stop going to work because my co-worker got fired and I didn't agree with it. Getting jobs and keeping them is rough for everybody. Harvest Houses one of the better home cooking restaurants I have been to. There are very few gems out there and it's nice to have one in my hometown. Portions are very generous, everything I have eaten is great. However others stated that the pasta dishes are average, thats kind of what you get though when you try to do an all culture type of menu. I generally try to get the chicken cordon bleu which is absolutly terrific. Desserts are also homemade and a lot of desserts that I haven't eaten since having it cooked by my grandmother. You also have the ability to choose coke or pepsi products! I would recommend this restaurant to anybody that tired of the franchise restaurant menus we all see day to day! The only complaint I do have is that the tables are a little small for multiple people going to dinner, two is perfect, four your crammed.

I have never been to the Harvest House Restaurant and I will NEVER go there! They just fired one of there employees because she found out that she had breast cancer! Before they fired her she was told that she could not tell the customers that she had cancer so that they would not ask about her while she was gone and then they fired her right before she went in to have her breast surgery! How awful! I will never eat there and I will tell everyone I know about this so that they won't go there either!

The food served here is better the usual fare at other restaurants, as a matter of fact, it is better than The Olive Garden!
