User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThis is my favorite store!: I could live in this store! They have all sorts of regional foods, books, toys, and housewares. Gillingham's is the oldest general store in Vermont. Every time I go to Gillingham's, I spend an hour roaming around. It is a cook's paradise and has hundreds of little gadgets, and when you see them you wonder, "now how did I ever live without that?" My favorite bargain are these wooden wine crates for $2.00, because they are great for storage. It is impossible to describe what the Gillingham's experience is like - except that it is a fantastic experience. They have such an incredible variety of items from something as mundane as candles, to beautiful Quimper pottery.
