We have a camp in Vermont and always make time to go to D.J.'s. For us the Prime Rib is the signature meal. We really enjoy the staff, however on our most recent trip, Katie was the highlight of our dining experience. She is very personable and a great sense of humor. If you go.. let her pick your bottle of wine. We can't say enough about this terrific place.
Mary and Sam
My family's been going to DJ's every summer and winter for 25 years. It's solid, good food, good prices, good crowd, good service (I think we've had the same waitress for 25 years, too). Probably the best value in Ludlow; we've never had a bad experience there. We've tried other places, but always end up at DJ's by the end of the week. It's not fine dining by any stretch of the imagination, but it's consistently good. Keep it up!!
DJs in Ludlow Vermont is what it is. It's good quality, basic food at good prices.
The Ludlow locals love this place (it's one of the few restaurants that is open year-round and packed every night).
The atmosphere is booths, dark wood and Frank Sinatra on the sound system (always turned down for good conversation).
The prime rib and stuffed baked shrimp are excellent and the occasional special, fried oysters drives me wild.
Ok, salad bars are 1960s but it's comforting to step back to the past sometimes, and DJ's salad bar is well attended and always fresh.
Every employee, from the owner down to the dishwashers are locals and friendly, beyond belief.
(Ask any of the bus-kids how they did at snowboard comps, baseball or basketball this year).
