    Laney's: This local mainstay is always busy and the reason is that it has a great atmosphere, incredible memorabilia, very good food and consistent service. "Laney", a retired schoolteacher, is no slouch when it comes to consistency and service. She "cracks the whip" with her staff and it shows in the way they perform. All of her servers are friendly, fast and efficient. A five star for service! The food is very good however the ribs may sometimes be a bit too tough or over "slathered" with sauce. The small pizzas are excellent as is the red cabbage cole slaw. Give Laney's a try particulalry if you have kids.

    The best ribs in Vermont: Have yet to find a place with better ribs in vermont - maybe ever! Fun place, good for kids, reasonable prices.
