I received a wash/cut/style from the able stylist, Amy at the salon. My experience was a little unique, as I had well over a foot of hair to remove and donate to Locks of Love, not to mention a deep need for an updated style!

Amy took time in consulting with me after the initial LoL removal, carefully and expertly cut my hair, and showed me a multiplicity of ways I could change up my luck with one product and simple styling techniques.

Lorraine set me up with all the info I'd need to send my donation to Locks of Love.

For the level of efficiency, personable service, the ready availability of appointments, and the helpful nature of the stylists, I walked away feeling like I'd gotten a fair, square deal with a few little perks!!

I'd recommend them because unlike other regional salons, they keep their appointments, take your business seriously, and really work to give you a *style* that fits your personae, not a slapdash, cookie-cutter-haircut that is dull or trendy or just not right for you!

After two years of bouncing through salons to try to find a local replacement for my destination-salon in Portsmouth, NH (3 hour drive one way!!) I'm pleased to say that I will be a patron of Salon Jacque until the end of my days....

Salon Jacque can be an amazing experience, if you know who to go to. Personally, I have had nothing but good experiences with Christine. I recommend her to all my friends who are going to Salon Jacque, and I recently found out that Christine also does a great job with eyebrows!

However, I have heard very bad reviews about Dawn from many of my friends. She does a great job with coloring, but unless you want a pixie cut, then she will mangle your hair.

Overall, ask the lovely receptionist about who she would reccommend for the type of service you want, and hair type you have.

Fantastic salon! And fantastic stylists! After moving to the area, I was leary about trying a new salon but decided to try Salon Jacque. Dawn cut and colored my hair just the way I wanted it and the other stylists were very nice and offered their opinions before making a major color change. Overall, very clean salon, very nice stylists, great products and excellent service! You will not be disappointed!
