New England House

Just stoped by for the first time on the way back from the mountain ( very convient) I had one of the best rib eye steaks i have ever had as well as excellent service, the menu was excellent and i cant wait to return, this will be a must every time we go to vermont! if they had another star i would give it to them!!!!!!

I highly recommend the New England House! To put it simply, my dining experience at the New England House made me so happy that I want to share it with you.

As soon as you are welcomed in, the restaurant’s comfortable, warm, and relaxed atmosphere envelopes you. The wait staff at New England House are friendly and relaxed enough to make you smile, and professional and courteous enough to see immediately if you need anything, or if you don’t! I felt very well cared for, without being hovered over. The food is amazing- a combination of well thought out, fresh ingredients creatively combined with traditional New England fare, simply presented and perfectly cooked. Both the texture and taste of my meal hit every right note, as did my companion’s (who is a successful chef himself). My wine was delicious and temperate.

New England House is a wonderful restaurant to discover. I definitely recommend it, and I’ll be dining there again as soon as possible.

Mixed Review: I really like the local vibe of the restaurant and wouldn't recommend it. This place is a big improvement from the Jolly
Butcher. The diversity of the menu is great just a little pricey for the product. I had a New York Strip. I ordered it med-rare, it looked good, but was a little dry, Old Steak, Microwave, or maybe a bad night...happens. My wife loved the house dressing on her salad.
