    Those of us who love the Shin-la (there are many) don't go for the service. If you hear complaints from those who feel scorned by the one, sometimes bored, sometimes harried waitress, just know that the food more than makes up for it. My favorites growing up were bool-go-ki and yakimandoo, and now that they added the delicious sushi menu, I can love something else! Just be warned that it can take 10 minutes or 90 to get your food; budget your time accordingly, and if you get stuck, soak up the friendly local atmosphere while you wait!

    I Got My Sushi: when i first arrived in brattleboro, the second thing i looked for was a good sushi restaraunt. i found it. shin la. no bad experience here. worth at least a weekly trip for indugling in my favorite food.
