Horrible Service/Food: As a Montpelier resident I have twice visited this establishment. Both times the place was nearly empty,but service still took forever. No drink refills were offered. The food was lackluster and tasted as though it was reheated, as the cheese was warm,but the bottom of my meal was still cold. They used caned artichokes, and other ingredients. I twice sent letters to the owner that went unanswered about how horrid the service was.
User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsMarginal At Best: The apple pizza (indigneous to VT) utilized canned rather than fresh apples. The apple pizza at Pie In The Sky in Stowe uses fresh apples and that leaves no room for comparison. My daughter had fish that was so past the point of freshness it could not be eaten-the smell pervaded the entire restaurant and when brought to the attention of the sullen wait staff we were advised: "You ordered it!" The food order for 7 arrived unevenly with gaps of upwards of 15 minutes-acceptable perhaps if the place were busy but on this evening we were the only patrons in the place. As to the balance of the pizza, frozen from Shaws is better. We'll not return. Sarducci's is so much better, I'm surprised this place remains open.
