User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsGill's is a wonderful local deli with excellent "Grinder" sandwiches customized the way you like. Very popular with Rutland locals, be brave and elbow your way to the counter to place your order for sandwiches and and small selection of classic cold deli items like salads and deviled eggs. The deli has been operating for somethinig like 40 years at this location. Great for a lunch or light bite.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThe best grinders in the city! (and no MSG): If you want to know of a place where the locals eat this is it. Fresh made rolls, grinders, pizza, salads and more. And for those of us with food allergies Gill's has always used MSG free coldcuts. Don't miss Gills and expect to wait in line with the locals.

All around great place!: Friendly service, great sandwiches, wonderful fresh bread, nice side choices and all at a fair price! A local must! Has an eat in section, which is clean and comfortable, and take out counter and deli area are always popular!
