Julie and John were fantastic hosts. Julie welcomed us with homemade cookies and lemonaid. We stayed in the New York room which was very comfortable. The bathroom is very tiny, so if you're a large person, this is not the room for you. The only A/C is to open the windows, but we found this to be adequate for early July. Julie and John had the room very well appointed with upgrade toiletries, bottled water, sherry decanter and chocolates. The queen size bed was most comfy. Our room was on the second floor and the hosts live on the third floor. They have a cute little dog named Maggie who lays out on the side porch. They have a Keurig coffee brewer in the hall with Green Mountain coffee for 24 hour self service. I found this to be very nice. Julie made a wonderful breakfast of pumpkin pancakes, fresh peaches and homemade muffins. We only stayed one night but we plan on making another trip in the near future to spend a long weekend.
