Realy not that good. Service was slow. The Amstel lite WAS cold.
Decent pizza, but quite good for Vermont: My rule of pizza has always been that the quality of pizza is inversely related to the distance from New York City. Piecasso is an exception to that general (and still mostly true) rule. The plain NY style thin pizza is the best, but the specialty pies are pretty good too. And given the total ripoffs that most Stowe restuarants are, the relatively decent prices here make this one of the few Stowe restuarants where the locals will eat. On the down side some of the lunch portions are too small (I had a pesto pasta serving that was quite tiny) and some of the wait staff are more interested in their 'chill' persona rather than providing good service. Other than that, Piecasso is one of the best choices for dining out in Stowe.
Dont waste your time: This has to be one of the worst place's to eat than anywhere else. To start off according to the wait staff you can not order slices unless you take it to go. Well they only offer staffed seating, which is fine but as the cashier put it
"It wasnt worth using our waitress on a $4.00 order"
That is the response I got from them after I left. When I started giving the waitress my order she told me no slices are allowed to be ordered unless to go. So lets see 2 slices with 3 toppings 2 overpriced bottles of water a dinner and over priced order of garlic knots and a salad wasnt worth there waitresses time. Its funny how they tell you what you can and can not order from them even though your are the customer. Well I drove about 30 minutes north and went to a REAL New York pizza place. Marco's Pizza in south burlington. Pie Casso may brag about New York style pizza but it is not New York tasting and it is definately not New York service. No place in NY will tell you you can not have something that they offer unless it was completely out of stock. So dont bother wasting your time if you can take the drive to Marco's pizza in Burlington they are friendly and they are not cheap with there toppings like they are at Pie- Casso.
Oh and to top it all off you would think after explaining what happened to the cashier as I told her I was leaving they would try to resolve this issue, but nope they basically said oh well.
