Rosies is (more or less) recognized and remembered because of their perfect location. Right on route 7. Easy to find and plenty of parking. They are a family style resturant that offers the basic down to earth menu choices.
The only thing with Rosie's is they seem to be geared for the senior citizens or older clientel because the portions are not as plentyfull as one would expect. Especially when it come to roast beef.

I just moved to VT, and finding Rosie's has made the transition all the more easier. The comfortable feeling in the dinning room and great service make it feel like home. Not to mention the great food at unbeleveable prices. Where I come, from the meals at Rosie's would be 2 to 3 times more expensive. Some of there specials look as if they should be in a 3 star restaurant.

I've been going to Rosie's for years and have always been happy with the service, last night was the exception, I don't know if they were short staffed or what's going on but the wait for food was almost an hour, my dinner was cold, my soda was pure syrup and in general it was just not the service I am used to at this restaurant. We had a fairly large party (it was a birthday celebration)and it included 4 children, in past the waitresses has brought us crackers for the kids and made sure they were happy, not last night. I'll give them another try sometime in the future but if the service does not improve it will be one more place that I will not frequent..I hope the owners are reading these reviews and will take the step to make sure their customers are happy
