User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI went with my grandparents to The Brown Cow in Newport, VT for the first time yesterday. I had THE BEST steak dinner, of my life. It was cooked exactly how I liked it and tasted like a summer evening family BBQ. The entire staff was cheerful, the price was AWESOME, and it was generally enjoyable to be there. I highly recommend the Brown Cow!

This is as casual as it gets, if your not wearing a ripped pair of jeans and a john deere t-shirt everyone will be staring at you, the coffee is just barely acceptable to drink, the food is good, however they rush you to place an order then you wait a looonngg time to get it. I was there on a Sunday morning at 8am so the place was not full yet even though it is very small. If you don't drink much coffee and don't mind being gawked at go ahead the omelets are okay, but if you just want to sip a good cup of java and have an enjoyable breakfast seek it elsewhere.

The bad part: Customer service from top to bottom is quite possibly the WORST I have been exposed to at any restaurant ever!
