great food but personalities need to be worked on especially on the telephone--makes you want to drive into hartford for italian pastry
yes the cannoli and other sweets are beyond wonderful but the reason i keep going back is the stuffed breads. you eat the sausage and pepper bread, you think you died and went to heaven. the soups are really good too.
Good Italian pastries should have a lingering taste, and only a great chef can accomplish this feat. Emeddio Botta, the pastry chef and owner, had a six year apprenticeship just making pastries in Sorrento, Italy. His pastries have that magic. The wonderful lingering taste last for an half hour to an hour. Don't forget to thank him personally. If you eat one of his cannoli, you love life will change within twenty four hours.
