We decided to stay at Centennial Inn All-Suite Hotel for New Years Eve. We wanted to relax and enjoy a quiet couple of days away from NYC. The photos looked promising and the price was right...but you get what you pay for.
The area is great--the surrounding towns have plenty of decent restaurants and upper-end chain stores--but The Centennial left much to be desired.
The rooms are dated & dusty, the bedroom closet door almost fell off when we touched it, and the TVs were very old & sounded terrible. We couldn't rest or relax, because the bed, pillows, and couch were hard as a rock! The mattress pad actually crackled. The bathroom shower had decent pressure, but was still dingy, and the toilet was tiny. All in all, I recommend the area, but not this place...Sorry!

Friendly staff, quiet place to relax close to home, but you feel so far from home! My husband and I got to breakfast late, (we thought it had stayed open for another hour), and the waitress there let us still grab food, and brought us out things that she had already put away. Amazing staff! The only thing is, don't get the romance package, because at confetti's restaurant, they do not give you $40 worth of a gift certificate if you spend less. They do not give you the change!
