The great escape is great everytime we visit, the kids love it, and the staff is so helpful and polite! It's really no dirtier than any other playscape and if you visit on a weekday you'll usually see them cleaning up a storm in there. My advice though is to try to go early in the morning or on a weekday, those weekends they have parties and the kids can get a little rough and loud! I usually bring my laptop and work for a few hours and order a pizza for the kids. All in all, great place!
Although my son enjoyed the toddler area for a few minutes, I had to choke back the nausea I felt when I saw how dirty the ball pit was (which was the only thing my 2 year old could participate in). The place is pretty chaotic for litte ones - kids running around with too much junk food and sugar drinks - and a lot of the videogames don't even work. I'm glad it didn't cost an arm and a leg. . . and maybe for older kids the big playscape is more fun (though I doubt its cleaner) but I WILL NOT return to the Great Escape and was really disappointed.
Me and my fam loved it. My dauter how is 12 still has fun going there. her favorie thing to do there is go on the big slide. My other child who is 7 also loves it there. She is always begging me to go. They keep it very clean but once in a great while it will be a little dirty but not bad. All though I never let them go in the ball pit because there are always kids wipping balls at people in there. The best part is both of my children like because there are slides of all sizes and a piramid you climb up in the back. So over all I recremend this place to any one who has a young kid.
