Staff here seems like you owe them or they got up on the wrong side of the bed. Stopped on the return trip from fishing two weekends ago. Pick another freindlier Wendy's.
User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsAvoid this Wendy's at all costs. This location and the one near Buckland Mall are both locally owned franchises and not part of Wendy's International and it shows in lack of quality, extremely poor service and increased prices. I have stopped here and have yet to receive the food I ordered. They simply cannot get the order right. The food is cold-not freshly prepared and their prices are higher, for example the Snack Attack here is $1.49 while the Wendy's on Main Street in East Hartford or Broad Street in Manchester is still only $.99. I travel the extra distance for the lower prices-better service and much better food.

This information is backwards. Wendy's International owns this one, Buckland Mall, and Uconn. The rest are a Franchise out of East Granby that owns most of the Wendy's in the area. Price does vary but the quality is great and the help is friendly.
I don't know who owns what but I can tell you the service at the Spencer Street location is terrible. I've been through the drive through on too many occasions where they simply have given me an incorrect order. Last time through I order a crispy chicken with onions and a diet coke no ice. Got the ice-didn't get the onion and the sandwich was ice cold. Add to that the woman in the pay window was on her cell phone talking to someone using foul language. If Wendy's International runs this joint-they definitely need remedial management from the Home Office.
