User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsDecor is really C- neighborhood down-home, but after you taste the homemade flavor of everything on the menu from the main courses to the sauces, combined with authentic and inventive recipes from Oaxaca and central Mexico, you wouldn't care if you were eating in a pup tent! Everything we have tasted is pushing the definition of Mexican "food" to Mexican high cuisine and beyond to something world class. What on earth is something like this doing in a dump like this? Who knows? But if you are in the area, absolutely don't miss it. By the way, it won't ruin your pocketbook, either!

User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThe food here was terrific! We moved here from California and have faced a drought of good Mexican food...but we found it at Sarapes. Nice kids menu also. Highly recommend!
