    My Friends and I loved everything at the Pettibone Tavern! We all had different dishes, I had a great Ahi Tuna, my friend had one of the specials which was a porter house steak with a wild mushroom demi glace that was sooo good! We ate upstairs at the bar and had great service and yummy happy hour apps and drinks.

    Good Solid Restaurant: Great Historic New England Atmosphere. Food is consistently good, but doesn't blow you away. Stick with traditional food here - Clam Chowder, Fish, Steak... it's what they do best.

    Great place!: Not only is the atmosphere and delicious food worth the trip to this beautiful, historic tavern, but you get some unique history to go along with it... such as... it is rumored to be haunted! Ask your server for a write up of the history of the tavern. I've been there several times and have thoroughly enjoyed every meal. The desserts are fabulous too!
