User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsHartford Stage Company: Last evening we went to see a production of August Wilson's Fences. This was our first visit to the theater. The theater is easy to access if you're familiar with downtown Hartford. Public parking is in the garage next to the building.
The stage company allows it audience to prepay parking. The cost is five dollars. I was given a ticket to present to the cashier when we exited the garage.
The theater itself is intimate. I liked the stadium seating and the arangement of the seating. It was like theater in the round. The lighting and the acoustics were excellent. I liked the amenity that the theater provided. The audience could prepay for an intermission drink before the play began. It eliminated the wait time to stand in line behind the bar.
It was easy to exit the theater and we departed from the garage quickly as well. The accessibility to I-91 was great. We were home in a half hor.
