User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsBad place for your company Christmas Party! We were treated second rate with bad service and the worst food I've ever had at a "restaurant". The service was SLOW and our waiter was extremely RUDE. After tipping him two hundred dollars cash 30 minutes in to the party, the service actually got WORSE!! The food was horrible, cold and undesirable, it reminded me of catered food at a Stag Party or Shower...no flavor, no substance, NASTY!!!!!!!
The comedy show was better than dinner, but the dinner was so bad I will never go back. I have enjoyed City Steam in the past on dates or evenings with friends, but seeing a whole group of 20-30 of us treated so poorly...It puts a bad taste in your mouth(JUST LIKE THE FOOD).

Sorry to hear about your bad experience. I would imagine a restaurant that's usually packed like that--especially if you went on a weekend--would have a little difficulty serving a party of 30 arriving at the same time. For a party of that size I would have chosen a slower pace restaurant.
In the past the party was at "Hot Tomatoes Restaurant". The staff there did everything possible to accomodate us. The menu is better and the drinks have alot less water in them. I would recommend having your party there. From my experience it is better to go with the real restaurant than a brewery with bar food. Hot Tomatoes is amazing...they have no difficulty serving everyone at the same time, make a reservation and they'll honor it with good food, good drinks, and service with a smile!! John Walsh
