We went on a Saturday night about 8:00, there are probably 8-10 tables and half had people at them. Despite being half capacity with two waitresses and a hostess we waited a long time for our waitress. I'm sorry but I had a problem waiting 5 minutes for a coke when I was 3 feet away from the fountain. My husband's water had stuff floating in it--but it came a lot quicker than my coke at least! I was also disapointed to be charged for two cokes-I thought almost everyone gave free refills these days...or at least discount refills...I paid $2 a pop for probably 4 oz of coke...
Despite what I said above about waiting, the food wait was reasonable though, and worth it--it was very good-exactly what I wanted. Its tough to get quality Japanese food in the area, with all these sub-par hibachi places popping up everywhere... I will go back to this restaurant because the food was good, maybe the staff had an off night.
So as you can see I am torn with how to rate this restaurant...because the food was great but the service was not.
The sushi was decent but their menu is boring. If you like the basics, it's fine, but don't expect anything interesting.
Best Sushi is CT: The spicey crunchy tuna roll is amazing! It doesn't have the mayo-ish to it that all other sushi restaurants have. Once you try their sushi nothing else will compare.
