User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsI called Apollo Restaurant in Willimantic/Windham to check on a gift card that I received from a family member who got it directly from the restaurant staff (which only stated "GIFT CARD" and the restaurant name and address...no magnetic strip or $ amount). The owner was rude and they refused to help me with my questions and told me to just visit them if I wanted to use it and hung up on me in mid-sentence.
The following week I visited them and it was not a recommendable experience. The food was average and my giftcard was not accepted without a valid explanation.

I LOVE APOLLO! IT IS THE BEST RESTURANT IN THE WORLD! EVERYONE SHOULD GO THERE AND EAT, ENJOY, AND RELAX.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsBest food in the area: I have been a 'regular' at The Apollo for several years now and have always found the food to be delicious and hot with generous (if not huge) portions. The staff and owners are kind and friendly, and always make you feel at home.
The prices are very reasonable and the service is great. The Apollo is a 'must visit' any time you are in the area.
