Muddy Waters is the perfect place to grab a cup of coffee or hang out and chat with friends! It's a cute, eclectic cafe' with a deck in back overlooking the trains and the river. They have amazing sandwiches, soups, yummy muffins and a coffee selection that changes daily. Susan and Barry are the best hosts. They love what they do and it shows. Check it out!

Have been to Muddy Waters whenever I'm in town in the mornings. Always a comfortable and relaxing visit. Last there on SailFest weekend and the friendly service and fresh and excellent array of products were excellent as always. You can't beat the deck weather permitting but the couches and fireplace are cozy in the winter. Susie always makes you feel welcome.

What a find!: We stopped at Muddy Waters after being told you could get a cup of coffee there. It was a windy, cold February day when we made our visit.

As soon as we opened the door we knew we had walked into a special place.

We both ended up ordering the hot chocolate a one of thier cookies... as we moved towards the back of the place to sit down, we found a very comfortable area completel with fireplace and sofa. We decided we needed to sit for a while.

The service was great! very personable... a little jazz piano in the background, lots of intersting pictures and knick knacks around the whole establishment.

We enjoyed or visit to Muddy Waters so much that we went back the next morning for breakfast.

If you should find yourself in need of a place to sit and relax over a nice cup of hot coacoa this is a must for you.

Oh... and being a coffee lover myself... i absolutley would pass on coffee and go with the dutch hot chocolate! it was fantastic.
