    This was THE place for fried clams, and hot lobster sandwich. Next best place would have to be up at Cape Cod. But why drive when this pace is in Ct. Loved it and hope it is open in Nov. when I have to pass thru....

    OMG! This is the Place for seafood!!! It's tucked away between the dock and train tracks. It's an outdoor eatery on picnic tables. Nothing fancy thats why they can put so much love into their food.

    A local recomended this to us after I did hear great reviews on line. We are so glad we did!! Everything was great! The scallops were the best I have tried in my life. So tender in the middle and lighly fried on the outside. We orderd a smaller portion to try out. After returning from the ladies room I found out that my hubby went back to counter and placed another order, bigger than the 1st one.

    We had the clam strips, and the clam fritters and scallops. Oh my gosh....I can't wait to go back and try even more items.

    Sorry, Abbot's, but this place truly won my heart!

    Captain Scott's Lobster Dock was incredible and was exactly what I was looking for. I didn't want anything fancy, nothing too overpriced - I just wanted it to be GOOD! And their food was extraordinary!

    I loved every minute of it.

    Get the (creamy) chowder, clam fritters and warm lobster roll. You'll be full, but glad you binged on their delights.
