User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI went to this Mirch Masala for the first time (and my first taste of Indian food), and I must say I was impressed! I went with a friend who has been around the block with Indian food. We were seated immediately and the waiter chatted with us and helped us make decisions. My friend is Vegetarian so I stuck with her appetizer choices. Normally I would have gotten something else, but I thought the veggie platter was pretty alright. The sauces they brought out were phenomenal! I ended up deciding on the Lamb Saag and WOW. The spices are warm and delicious and it was definitely a welcome into the world of Indian cuisine.
I loved our waiter! He was so nice. He even made special (and unexpected) accommodations for us because we did say it was our first time there and my first time with Indian food. The only constructive criticism I'd have to give it is to speed up the time it takes to deliver and take our check and aesthetically there was a spot of water damage on the roof that took away from the atmosphere a little. Some paint should do the trick! Otherwise, I have nothing but good things and promises of return with more customers for these lovely people!
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThe new chef and staff have really turned things around. The service is friednly and at a quicker pace then prior. As the food is made to order it does take a little time then I'd like, but worth the wait. I have been there once a week for the past two months. Never disapointed. The bar scene is begining to pick up as well. I would recomend the chicken masala....
User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsReally good food. I've eaten here a few times. I believe it might be one of the best in Groton. Notable dishes- meat samosa, La-Jawab shrimp kabab, bagara baingan.
