Cardinal Honda

I purchased a 2001 Honda S2000 from Cardinal Honda, along with an extended warranty. Before driving the car off the lot a problem with the convertible top was evident which took them twice to repair successfully. 7,000 miles later, the clutch mysteriously died, which was of course not covered by the warranty ("normal wear and tear"). The service department was unwilling to concede that it was a pre-existing condition. Even the worst driver, let alone a driver of manual transmissions for years, could not destroy a clutch this fast. They clearly knew of the problem and covered it up to unload a car, and they denied fault when the problem again surfaced. I now go 30 minutes out of my way to get service done at Westbrook Honda as a matter of principle.
