User Rating: 2 out of 5 starsi have gone to this restaurant many many times! i have decided to surprise my mom this year with going to dinner there and having a few of her sisters and sister in laws surprise us there for dinner. well i just called to make dinner reservations for SEVEN people - "we don't take reservations - its a first come first serve basis."
they have great food - but if you are planning a surprise party - not the place to go! they just lost my business and a lot of other people as well!!!!
User Rating: 2 out of 5 starsThe salad bar was the worst I have seen and the meal was just plain bad. The steak was dry, flavorless and unexciting. The service was fair but was more what I would expect at waffle house not an establishment that claims to be as good as it does. The prices were very high for the quality and portions of food. The only good things I can say are that the atmosphere was cozy and fairly soothing, the service was fair and the employees were polite. I would not eat here again...ever.
User Rating: 2 out of 5 starsI've been here three times, each visit about a year apart from the previous. I found the quality of the steak poor and overdone to the point of being dry and leathery. The first time I figured the cook must have had a bad day but each time I returned I saw no improvement.
The service is exceptional though so if you like overdone steak promptly brought to you by friendly and accomadating staff then this is the place for you.

Many restaurants dont take reservations because many people dont keep them. Imagine if you owned a buisness and you held tables for people you thought were coming and then they never show. And it's not just a hold on a table for 15mins . That table could have been held for as much as an hour waiting for the reservation . Now imagine having 20 reservations at a time thats a lot of tables and a lot of buisness to lose on walkins. So not to go somewhere because you can't get a reservation is silly. Because I can imagine you would be just as mad if you came in and saw empty tables and was told oh sorry you cant sit there they are reserved.
