User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsI used to like Ed's.. went there as a kid and I used to go there all the time these past years.. that all changed on May 14, 2009 when me and my fiance went to get milkshakes to go, and although the young man who was helping us was friendly, he couldn't get the milkshake machine to work. So he asked the owner, who came over.. looked over the machine, and found out someone unplugged it. He then went on to belittling and yelling at his employee, and that was the last time I've been to Ed's. I'm never stepping foot in that restaurant again, good food or not. His attitude turned me off from ever going there again.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI eat here often. The use real turkey meat and not deli. They also have a wide variety of food on the menu and their pizza is really good. More importantly they have very affordable specials on Sundays and Wednesdays. Tough during these times to find a business that still offers affordable food that is of good quality.

I read some of these comments and had to laugh. I worked for Ed over twenty years ago, and quit because of these very things. They say you can't change people if they don't want to. Imagine the business he would have if he had changed! Ed has recently placed an ad into the paper regarding his nightly "specials" new pricing. However, he forgot to mention that he has raised the prices on everything else to make up for it. Over $4.00 for two scoops of ice cream on a cone! He ought to be ashamed! You can buy a whole half gallon AND a box of cones for less than that!

I too, had this same experience with the owner of Ed's senior,years ago and son recently! he was yelling and hollering at the TOP of his lungs unkind and belittling things to his employees. He is the rudest man I have ever met and after that experience I've never gone back into Ed's and never plan to again in my life. I also tell everyone I know about him. Two ladies from work previously worked for him, and they told similar stories about his outbreaks! He was staring rudely at me another time, and I asked him what his problem was, and his answer was a giant yelling fit and demanded I get out of his store. I repeat, I will never go back to Ed's Kitchen and Creamery.
