El Coyote offers the best Mexican Food north of the Rio Grande. I strongly recommend the Guacamole, made table-side, right before your eyes, where you can customize the ingredients to your taste. Extensive, varied menu with beef, fish, pork, vegetables, etc. Friendly, attentive staff to cater to your every need. For those who enjoy Tequila, they offer the mainstream brands but more importantly, they have the best, if you can afford $30.00 per shot, and everything else in between. Monday thru Thursday, a nice happy hour with free appetizers at the bar.

This is high quality authentic Mexican food. This is a nice change from the run of the mill Mexican cuisine that you find most places. The food is superbly prepared, imaginative, with lots of variety and flavor. There are often great specials as well as the traditional dishes that you want to see. You find authentic flavors and ingredients, from meat to seafood and great side dishes such as the delicious plantains (served two different ways).
Drinks are flavorful, whether it be Sangria or mixed drinks. Service is friendly and helpful. You won't find a better choice and it is well worth the drive if you are outside the local area.
