User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI have eaten in several Mexican places across the state, growing up back west you being high standards in Mexican food. I live in in New London, and its worth the drive for this place. The food is close to authentic, the service was OK as well. Best of all it has a salsa bar, from green to red, hot to mild. The rest I've tried are bland and use vinegared salsa.

I went there a couple of weeks ago for dinner with my girlfriend. We had nachos with everything for an appetizer and burritos and enchiladas for the meal. The nachos were above par but we didn't like the meals. Last night we ordered take out and it was terrible. We got home and realized they got every piece of our order wrong. They even added a meal we didn't order. Everything was squashed because they put the food between two paper-plates. I have no doubt that this may be authentic for some people.( believe me, you do not want to know how they prepare food in mexico)
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsBest in the State for Mex: You cant beat the low price and quality of California Mexican food. But so far this place is the best tasting and authentic. Not in a tourist area, but kind of reminds me of how Mexicans restaurants are located in LA. Best salsa in the state...all you can eat.
