User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsSo many people I know besides myself have done business with Barberino in Wallingford CT and they all have horrible stories to tell about the lemons that were sold to them. When customers return to Barberinos with complaints about the cars they purchased,the customers are treated shabbily by the employees at Barberinos. I would not recommend anyone to do business with this car dealership.

WARNING... Please beware when purchasing a vehicle at Barberino Brothers of Wallingford because I found the employees and management to lie and deceive just to make a sale. I was strait out lied to and deceived when I was told I was receiving $9500 when I actually only received $8000 on my trade-in. They also raised the sticker price by the difference of the amount I was supposed to receive with the trade-in hoping I wouldn't notice. They also tried to put in an extended warranty for 3 years which was priced over $2500 without my knowledge. I am writing this review to hopefully help someone else from being lied too and taken advantage of as I was.
User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsHORRIBLE!: My husband and I had heard of Barberino's from all their stupid comercials. They all state that they work with people with bad credit, slow credit, ect. Sounded good to us since we have a few problems with our credit. When we went there and saw a $10,000 used vehicle we wanted, but the sales associate told us because of our credit we could only be approved for a new $21,000 car. After he roped us in, they began the loan process on this new vehicle. For about 2 weeks were were dragged along saying we can pick up the car in 2 days. Every other day we were told this after WE HAD to call to check on the process. Not once did anyone call us to tell us the status. After 2 weeks of being dragged along we told them we werent interested anymore. Obviously they were offended because their response was "well, we cant get you approved anyway. There is no way anyone will give you a car loan". One week later we went to Terryville Chevrolet and we were approved for the vehicle we wanted (not what we were forced to get) the next day! Don't waste your time at this dealership. They are rude, disrespectful, and clearly don't need the business...
