Carter's Barber Shop

Carter's is local staple in Bridgeport, CT. I am 24 years old and my father took me to Carter's when I was a boy. Its been in the same location. The barbers are friendly and professional but most importantly is the decorum. Where current day inner-city barbershops have televisions and radios blasting and rowdy consumers, Carter's is a breath of fresh air. Sure, a television is in the background playing last night's sports highlights, but people sit and read papers and talk to one another. The consumers are friendly, local people who are just as much apart of the decorum as the old school barber's chairs that adorn the place. Pricewise, it is also comprable to any barbershop in the area. The biggest advantage to carters that I have left out thus far is that its open early. So if you need to get a haircut before a meeting early in the morning, someone is there ready for you. all the barbershops in the area open pretty much when they want. Definately recommend to anyone wanting that old school feel and a professional grooming experience.
