User Rating: 3 out of 5 starsGreat food. Friendly drivers. Went in once to pick up some food. Had a home-ey or family feel. Laid back atmosphere. Service was fast enough. Will definitely continue to order and eat from here.
User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsWhy is it still there?: Nicholas's used to be my favorite pizza place. Their pizza was yummy, but their mozzarella sticks would've made it worthwhile anyway. They had homemade, giant mozzarella sticks. They no longer have these, they've switched to tiny, frozen ones. They still give you the same amount and still charge the same amount of $ for them too.
The last time I went there was the summer of '05. There didn't appear to be anyone working there. I sat down, and after close to 20 min.s, when no waitstaff appeared, I got up and left. Nobody seemed to care.
Their pizza might still be good, but it's been yrs since I've had it, so it may have gone the way of the mozzarella sticks.

User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsWorst service and lousy food!: The food here is ok if you like to eat food that was not made by someone who enjoys cooking or can handle more than one item per order! The service is lousy! I have recieved burnt food and undercooked food from here and when I complained the manager acted as though I was crazy! What ever happened to the customer is always right? I don't complain often so when I do you know it was BAD! Will never eat here again!

they have the HUGE mozzarella sticks....i know because they are homemade...oh and their pizza is still great i love it!!!! sounds like all u r doing is bashing a GREAT place to eat....
Nicholas Pizza House is the best place in torrington to eat. I have been there many times and everytime i have great service. Friendly people and a lovely place. The mozz sticks are delicious, i get them everytime i eat there. There fresh homemade and WONDERFUL if you want some traditional style greek/ Italian food come on down....it will deff. be worth your money! (great prices)
