I ordered the small pizza, which is a 12" pizza, as a white pizza. You have to order separately to add ricotta, a bit of a disappointment, but manageable. The total for the pizza with crust, mozzarella and ricotta is $10.02 with no delivery charge. Nothing to write home about, but good and satisfying. The wood fired oven is prominent in taste with the white pizza and adds a nice flavor. I could just swear that the delivery lady smelled of the oven smoke, nice touch, and she was nice too. They have some Tuesday thru Thursday deals worth inquiring about, along with the garden variety grinders, pastas and calzones etc. They are open until 10PM and closed on Mondays.

I ordered a pizza w red sauce and was disappointed with a pizza with a semi-burnt bottom and soggy crust. I thought maybe I would give the place another try, sticking with a white pizza type order. Well, if you don't have a coupon IN hand, you cannot take advantage of their Tuesday thru Thursday specials. They will not give you any sort of help on that one. They won't even pull a coupon off their counter for you as a courtesy when you call. Per usual in Torrington, the customer service is poor and proprietors are not concerned with their reputation nor customer retention. I try to patronize the places with best customer service, even if they aren't stellar. A little give goes a long way in a tight economy. I think they are down to maybe 2.5 stars in my book. Keep in mind when considering number of stars as to what people really expect in Torrington, sub part customer service, and will rate high for decent food with some reasonable service. This place would never survive in a bigger market.
