User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsPretty good food, but not fantastic: If this is the "best in Torrington" as Linda said, I may have to start looking elsewhere.
This is a "take-out joint", though they do have 3 or 4 tables in the place.
I will say it's the best I've had yet in Torrington, but I still have some reservations. One thing I HATE is ordering a chicken dish that doesn't look like chicken. I ordered General Tso's Chicken and found about half of it was good, solid chicken-looking chicken and the other half was that dark meat that you get from the cheaper places.
The fried rice was decent, not particularly flavorful but not bad. My wife ordered the Crab Rangoon and threw it away, and that's just about the only thing she ever orders and it was the first time she dumped a full order.
I also got the fried wantons and they were pretty good. I've had better but I've had much worse. Rounding out the order were the egg rolls which I was too full to eat mine and my wife was too apprehensive, so I'll probably have mine for lunch with the rest of my General Tso's.
I gave it 4 stars because so far it IS the best I've had in Torrington, but I'm still hopeful I'll find a really good place where the ALL the chicken LOOKS like chicken.
Price was reasonable, It came to $20 and change for all the above food plus 2 sticks of Beef Terriaki (which were excellent) and was definitely enough to feed 2 people with leftovers.
