The food was superb! Great place to go on a date night or with a couple of friends. The whole experience was wonderful. I highly recommend it.
I ate there on Friday 11/16. Food was fabulous. I had a Wasabi Pea Crusted Ahi Tuna with a roasted corn ginger sauce which was fantastic. My husband had Braised Angus Short
Ribs which had a drizzle of truffle honey and was served with goat cheese au gratin potates. He said it was fantastic and ate it all. We split a lobster butternut squash cake and it had some kind of vinaigrette with scallions, pumkin seed oil and sherry vinegar, which was unbelievable and I had never had anything like that before. We moved here from Manhattan 6 months ago and have been looking for a restaurant to eat at and we haven't had much luck. Around here they seem to pretend they know how to cook, but there was no pretending there. Service was very professional also, even the young people were courteous and friendly, while still being professional, which is very rare. We only have eaten here once, but my neighbors who recommended it to us said in all the times they've eaten there it has been consistently good.
Cozy/romantic restaurant. Dinner was Delicious: Don't know how this place was in the past but I've eaten here twice in the last month & I loved it. The bar is a great place to sip a glass of wine while you wait for your table. The atmosphere in the dining room is intimate with dimmed lighting & decor that sets the mood. The Shrimp Cocktail is truly ala carte -they charge by the shrimp because each shrimp is the size of a lobster tail. Succulent, just the right temp. - & a nice presentation - vertically skewered for some height. The Filet with Brandy Peppercorn gravy was outrageous - cooked to perfection. Not cheap - but worth the $$$.

Too expensive for the food and atmosphere. Trying to be too NYC in Danbury.
