I enjoy the staff and vets for a long time now. Compassionate and caring but able to smile and laugh if that is what I needed as an owner. With sporting dogs, they are the ones who know the most and can treat the animal correctly from the get go. I have had nothing but excellent care for my dogs and cats.
Turned away at a critical point: I ran to the closest vet, I did not have that much time. I should have known they did this once before. I was turned away only to have my pet die in my arms. They did not have time to see an emergency, especially one that they had not seen before.
Wonderful surprise: We were referred to this practice as we had just come home with a very sick puppy and one of the larger practices couldn't give us an appointment until 5 days later. Dr Power saw us the same day and diagnosed advanced pneumonia - the puppy wouldn't have lasted another 5 days. We have taken him back for about 6 follow-up visits and everyone at this vet is wonderful - office staff, nurses and Dr Power. I cannot recommed this practice highly enough.

How sad. I also had a bad experience with this vet. They were rude, condescending and really didn't seem to care too much about my dog. What they DID care about was ridiculing my panic and laughing at my state at the time - MY DOG WAS SICK - how was I supposed to act? I cannot recommend them, but I CAN recommend Plumtrees Animal Clinic in Danbury - Dr. Baff is a better vet - all these other posters just lucked out - I have heard MANY people complain about the vets and staff at this clinic!
