I worked at Tan & Body when I was in h...See MoreI can guarantee that last person (nicholas) was lying. Or, someone got fired that day. I worked at Tan & Body when I was in high school. I thought it was going to be cool to hang out at a tanning salon but that is NOT what they do here. My job was to clean, and clean, and clean. i thought it was a waste of time and got lazy. It only took 3 beds "not cleaned up to standards" to get me Fired. I immediately went to work for GC in Danbury where noone cleaned anything, I never saw anyone change bulbs and all my friends hung out all day. I thought THAT was cool. I went away to college and came back after graduation. When I decided to tan again the ONLY place I would go to is Tan & Body. I get it now. I thought Laura was just a neuotic clean freak.... Ironically, that Is exactly why I went back there. Great tans, great service, and always always clean. As someone who has seen places from the inside out.... THIS is the only place I will ever tan. For the record, I do not normally leave reviews but after reading that other one I signed up just to make things right.Report AbuseWrite a comment ... -

Definitely the worst in the area, the employees are obnoxious and rude, and the beds were most likely not sanitized before i went in there, i was disgusted and will never go back.This is a flat out LIE. No employee of Tan & Body has EVER been obnoxious or rude - ESPECIALLY the ones that work there now! I have been in line behind idiots and the girls are completely professional. The place is always immaculate and spotless from the ceiling to the floor and that includes the beds. Ironic that this person gave the worst salon a good rating... hmmm01/13/12 -

That was FATE because this is the best salon in the world. Gold Coast was dirty and rude, Totally Tan was low class. All the workers taught me so much in the 1st 2 weeks about tanning and which types of bulbs (oops, they call them lamps) are best for me and WHY. Not one other salon could ever tell me why one bed was better than another but Bethel Tan did. I haven't tried all the beds there (they have over 20) but I am determined to do it! And they are always cleaning, cleaning, cleaning. I feel so comfortable there I won't ever go anywhere else!
