Hello,
My family and I were driving through Danbury and stopped by Kabuki for dinner. We had a great time there. It was a nice break on a long drive back home. We sat on the Hibachi side but did order the calamari and a sushi regular for my wife. The food was excellent. The show was great and overall we had (as I wrote above) a great time. I recommend this place.
I like sushi, but definitely not from this place. The sushi is mediocre, the wrapping is pitiful, the taste is worse, not fresh as it should be. I ordered three rolls, one of them is supposed to be the restaurant's special. What a disappointment! The service was okay, but I got charged for every re-filled so the total amount from my soda is more expensive than my wife' cocktails. Wouldn't come back to this place!
Hello,
Was in Danbury for a few days and went to Kabuki (hotel recommended). We had a wonderful time. The first day, yes we went twice, we had sushi and traditional. The sushi chefs were actually Japanese! The sushi was very fresh and hit the spot. We ordered sushi entrees and some traditional appetizers. Everything was great and had a wonderful time. Second time back we sat at the Hibachi and was entertained by a marvelous chef. Food was fresh and oh so much. We were stuffed, no room for dessert. Both time here were excellent and can't wait to come back to Danbury.
